A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah
Sometimes, life pauses to calm you,
making you sit with yourself, take a deep breath, and reflect on every step,
to realize that time passes faster than we imagine,
and that some precious moments that could have been shared with your life partner…
can never be replaced, nor retrieved.
After I turned twenty-five last month,
I paused to think honestly: I had been busy, running after daily distractions,
postponing a step that could have been full of warmth, laughter, and peace with my other half.
And of course… I don’t know where my future wife is right now,
how old she is, or what she’s doing at this very moment…
or whether she is the one reading these lines now,
but just thinking about her makes me smile 🥲
This is how my vision of marriage came about:
I see it as a true life project,
like any important project in the world:
success doesn’t come from making only what we love,
but from understanding what the other person needs,
what makes them happy, and what makes them feel accepted, safe, and comfortable.
Sometimes we love things we see as beautiful,
but they might not be the same in the eyes of those we want to share our lives with.
That’s why I believe marriage succeeds when it is a space for mutual understanding,
built on balance, not selfishness,
and when decisions are made wisely and responsibly,
because any project built on random decisions bears heavy losses… and time never comes back.
I’m looking for a partner who will share this project with me:
an aware, honest woman who respects the small details,
and understands that true love is nurtured through daily actions, not fancy words.
A partner who makes every day an opportunity for growth, understanding, and connection…
and who knows when to laugh a little together, because life sometimes needs a shared smile 🫠
I’m not perfect, but I am serious, conscious, and I value emotional maturity,
and I believe the most beautiful relationships are those where both people feel heard, appreciated, and understood.
For me, marriage is not a fleeting experience or a temporary feeling,
but a long-term project that requires sincere intentions, calm planning, and daily commitment.
If you see marriage as a journey to build a conscious life full of warmth, love, trust, and shared responsibility,
then perhaps this is the beginning of a simple conversation…
that may, in time, turn into the most beautiful project of our lives together, inshaAllah 🤍
